 Arts Experience Leaders
Arts Experience Leaders greet and enhance the experience of visitors to the art center. They will receive special traning and be invited to work at least one day a week. Responsibilities include:
- Helping visitors plan their visit through the art center
- Encouraging visitors to meet the artists working in various media
- Suggesting upcoming events
- Describing rental policies for events in the art center's public spaces
- Informing visitors about classes at The Art League
- Pointing the way to the City's unique Archaeology Museum
- Making visitors comfortable exploring the vast art center
A special opportunity will be to give guided tours of the art center, introducing visitors to working artists who can explain their artistic vision and methods.

Target
Gallery
Calling all art lovers who would enjoy sitting in an
art gallery during an occasional Saturday or Sunday
afternoon. Learn about a variety of art forms, help
with important gallery functions, and get to know artists
at the Torpedo Factory Art Center. Responsibilities include:
- Keeping an eye on the art in the gallery
- Processing sales of artwork
- Meeting and greeting visitors
- Occasionally assisting with light duties such as mailings
or data processing
Target Gallery is the national and international
exhibition space of the Torpedo Factory Art Center.
It is located on the first floor of the building behind
the artful spiral stairs.

Second
Thursday Art Night
Second Thursday Art Night is a sophisticated evening
of art openings and special activities, held throughout
the year. Volunteers may help with:

Set-up
- Banquet tables
- Registration
-
Gallery sitting
- Prize drawings
Volunteers
are requested to work from 5:30pm until 9pm. Partake
in this exciting and ever-changing monthly event.
