Meet at the front entrance each Wednesday and Friday at noon for an artist-led tour of the building.

For all other times: Groups are encouraged to browse the factory at their own pace and convenience and may speak with artists, ask questions, and observe the creative process. Formally led tours are not scheduled. School groups should not exceed 50 persons. One adult chaperone per every ten students is required.

A brief five-minute introductory talk about the factory may be arranged in conjunction with staff availability. A minimum of two weeks notice is required. Due to limitations on staff time, the introductory talk will not be available if a group arrives 15 minutes late. To schedule a talk, email tours@torpedofactory.org . Please include your organization name, address, phone number, email address, size of group with grade level if school group, and preferred date and time.

While the building opens at 10am it is advised that groups arrive after 11am when more artists and gallery attendants are present. If your group is interested in talking with a specific artist, it is suggested that you view the artists listed on our website and contact them directly to ensure they will be able to speak with you during the time of your visit. The floorplan may help your group decide which studios to visit first.
