Add a little Aloha to your holidays at the Torpedo Factory Art Center 's annual Holiday Open House! Warm up as you are transported to the tropics at this year's Hawaiian-themed party. Wear your favorite Hawaiian outfit and enjoy fun festivities as you wander from studio to studio stocking up on affordable, original artwork for everyone on your shopping list.

Holiday Shopping in Studios & Galleries
Studio and galleries are open until 9pm for holiday shopping! A Holiday Gift Guide will be available for visitors, with fun, unique ideas from Torpedo Factory artists and galleries. From handmade ornaments and playful hats and scarves to small sculptures, elegant jewelry, and original paintings, there's something for everyone!

Guests are invited to enter our free prize drawing for a chance to win a $100 Torpedo Factory Art Center gift certificate, which is good everywhere in the art center including all 82 studios, 6 galleries, The Art League, and the gift shop.

Live Music & Refreshments
Enjoy holiday treats by Bittersweet Café as you get into the island spirit with the Aloha Boys, a three-member acoustic band of native Hawaiians. The world-famous band will be performing a down-home, backyard-style Hawaiian music - perfect for some healthy Hula dancing.

Karen Reedy Dance
Catch special performances by Karen Reedy Dance, a locally-based contemporary dance company, from 6-7:30pm! Dancers will activate the spaces in and around the studios of Alison Sigethy in studio 307, Marsha Staiger in studio 322, and Beverly Ryan in studio 333, by performing short numbers from The Studio Series. The Studio Series is a collaboration between the three Torpedo Factory artists and Karen Reedy Dance.

Holiday Food & Toy Drives
Help us spread joy, hope and compassion this holiday season with two opportunities to give back to the community.

Holiday Food Drive: Guests are invited to make a contribution to a food drive benefiting Carpenter's Shelter. The Carpenter's Shelter is Northern Virginia's largest homeless support program and is dedicated to ending homelessness through services, education, and advocacy. The Torpedo Factory's food collection box will be in the main hall on the first floor from November 25 through December 31.

Annual Toy Drive: Give underprivileged children a reason to smile by donating new toys, infant/toddler items, and grocery store gift cards to Community Partners for Children, a non-profit organization that collects and distributes school supplies, clothing, toys, and other items for disadvantaged children from newborns to teens. The Torpedo Factory Art Center will be collecting toys through December 16 with a collection box located by the main entrance.
