Visual Rhythms/Ritmos Visuales

Visual Rhythms/ Ritmos Visuales is an all media juried exhibition that embraces the flavors and rhythms of Latin American influenced art and culture. Our juror for this exhibition, Lope Max Díaz, Professor of Art at North Carolina State University and former Professor of Art at the University of Puerto Rico, chose a wide range of work by artists that represent their influence, dialogue and spirit of Latin American art and culture. The work encompasses a multitude of media ranging from the more traditional painting and drawing to photography, digital prints, sculpture and an installation piece. Díaz states that all the work he has selected for this exhibition embraces a sense of nostalgia for the past, the survival struggle of the present and the uncertainty of the future.
