Reception: April 14th, 6-8pm -- Gallery talk with Gretchen Schermerhorn at 7pm
Nest, a juried exhibition that examines the nest as a symbol for home and refuge. Artists will be asked to respond to the theme of nests and how they view this symbol, literally or conceptually. The juror for this exhibition is Gretchen Shermerhorn, Artistic Director for the Pyramid Atlantic Arts Center in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Target Gallery, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia, is excited to share with you, The Nest Project. The Nest Project is in conjunction with the Target Gallery's juried exhibition
Nest. This is a four-part collaborative project that includes:
-- A Juried Exhibition in the Target Gallery with a special reception, April 14, 6-9pm
-- 10 Outdoor Installations along the waterfront
-- Community built nest in the main hall of the Torpedo Factory
-- In-Studio nests created by Torpedo Factory Artists
