Commissions are happily accepted from individuals
who share my visual aesthetic and love color.
The
Celluclay pieces pictured are primarily commissioned
works that can be made to hang from a ceiling or hung
on a wall. Celluclay is a German paper mache product
that is both light in weight yet extremely hard and
durable. The completed sculpture is sanded and sealed
with several coats of gesso before commencing the
painting, in oils, then sealed with the appropriate
varnish.
I
can create custom paintings with your size requirements
that harmonize with your environment. Paintings are
in oil on Belgian linen and can be up to 48"x60".
Commissioned oils range from $500-$10,000 although
generally in the $3000 range determined by style,
complexity and size. Larger sizes require additional
pieces, which can join visually. Pet portraits start
at $300 for a 10"x12" in oil.
