David Cochran creates a different kind of Family Portrait.

I consult with the client to come up with some type of personalized background and then portray the clients within that environment.

I work from photos (supplied by the client) and can include as many people as desired in the painting. (I am working on one now with 14 family members and friends in it.) I typically work in a large format, from three feet to sixteen feet. My challenge is to reflect the appearance and personality of the clients in these casual portraits. Many times these paintings are given for an anniversary, birthday or special occasion.
