Connie Slack has been an artist most of her life. Though the style of her work is ever-changing, bold color and dynamic composition remain constant to her large abstract paintings. She often paints to music, her work reflecting its energy and rhythm. Her award winning paintings are in corporate and private collections nationally and internationally. Slack was selected Torpedo Factory Art Center Artist of the Year for 2006. Look for her paintings at The Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival, May 18-20, 2012 at the Reston Town Center.
