Artist's Statement:
I work from how my senses react to what I enjoy doing or topics
I am interested in. Often I start with a concept and develop
and modify it according to my inspiration and where the canvas
takes me. I use color to create tension and to move the eye
through the painting. I enjoy working with patterns and shapes
that work together to create interesting visual spaces. I
also enjoy experimenting with paper collage and other materials
and mediums in my paintings and prints. I tend to create what
I call "fantastical" imagery.
