Sculptural Pieces | Small Sculptures | Functional Pieces

Arctic Vision 7.5" x 4" x3"
Totem 7" x 9" x 3"
All That Remains 10" x 6" x 2"

I am a sculptor working in glass. My material of choice is tempered or plate glass. Unlike bottle glass, which is typically recycled, building glass is not recycled but dumped in landfills. I began my own form of recycling by reusing these materials to create my art. I love the soft green tint of the glass and enjoy being part of the "green art" movement.

My work explores personal and spiritual growth and is inspired by the rhythms of nature and my life on the water. I fuse and slump pieces many times to achieve their organic look. But when the piece is finally out of the kiln, the work is far from over. I extensively cold-work each piece - sandblasting, grinding, and carving until the desired effect is achieved.

Sculptural work ranges in price from $500 to $3,500. Functional pieces (which make great gifts for the environmentally conscious) are priced from $40 to $400.
