Artist's Statement
My work is very much influenced
by memories of people from every walk of life when thoughts
are least observed, a moment of quiet. These sculptures are
my most abstract work; their large size and clean lines are
designed to focus on this emotional introspection. But my
representational work is very much involved with capturing
the essence and personality in the portrait.
