I took Dorothy Caldwell's workshop, Undercover: A Book of Marks, last summer and fell in love with mark making. It took a few months after returning home to digest all that was learned and a few more months to see how/if/when that knowledge would begin to appear in my art.

Red Kimono Set is the first in a series of what I think of as kimono remnants and it combines random hand-stitching with weaving, painting, woodworking and collage.

9 Circles is series that is purely about mark making, this time with the mark being that of a circle.

Prices begin at $125. Commissions are welcome.
