Artistic
Statement:
There is a serenity that is evoked in chaos that I find very
appealing.
For several years I've been focusing my attention on the dynamic
palate of colors created through the interplay of light on
water. I don't believe that every photo shows us reality,
but it does show us the reality of the moment, the intensity
of it. It makes time visible in all its beauty and imperfection.
That is my daily pursuit; to find a unique moment and show
the emotion and feeling through patterns, textures, colors
and shapes. I attempt to see the world differently each time
I look.
Images were captured on film using a 35mm
camera and printed in a darkroom.
The chaos is something we all see; the serenity is something
we hope to find.
