I was born in Washington, DC and raised
in Alexandria, Virginia. As a teenager, I spent much of my
time haunting the galleries of Washington. I was entranced
by the Medieval and Renaissance rooms in the National Gallery.
The influence of that time spent is evident in my work. I
work in watercolor on paper or wood. I enhance my portraits
on wood with gold leaf and collage. My acrylics are more abstract
than realistic. These paintings explore my love of the sea.
I also work in stained glass.
My paintings run between $95 to $2000.
My portraits run between $425 to $725
- size plays a part in cost.
My stained glass is $170 per square foot.
