Lane Palmisano,
a New Jersey native, is an imaginative colorist oil painter
enamored with the lush, luminescent properties of the medium.
Her latest evocative landscapes, drenched in color, heal and
soothe the soul. Lane's figurative and still life paintings
capture the intimacy and spiritual enigma of space and relationships.
Whether using brush or palette knife techniques,
she incorporates some of the Old Master's glazing techniques
giving her paintings an unusual depth and luminosity. Her
sensual use of color pays tribute to the Post-Impressionist
art of Gauguin, Cezanne, and Matisse.
Her timeless, colorful paintings are in
private and public collections throughout the world including
the
permanent collection at the American Embassy in Beijing, China.
Lane's paintings have won
