Photography has
led me to explore many alternative ways of creating art. I
have been manipulating and collaging with negative and positive
film for over twenty years. I love working with enlarged negatives.
They continue to be a primary tool for me and are used in
all of my current photographic processes.
In printmaking I use traditional as well
as photographic etching techniques to produce original hand
pulled intaglio, relief, and monoprints. Etched metal plates
created here may end up later in mixed media work.
I often combine photographic imagery with
materials such as copper, enamel, solder, plastic, wood, and
resin when creating mixed media artwork.
I exhibit my art periodically at the Torpedo
Factory in Studio 328 (phone # 703-836-3030).
My work is also available at J Cooper Gallery in Shepherdstown,WV
or through my home studio.
