Peggy creates limited edition photographs
of vanishing Americana derived from her unique method of hand
coloring photographic negatives. The scenes are bright, colorful,
and whimsical.
In printmaking she uses traditional as
well as photographic etching techniques to produce original
hand pulled intaglio, relief, and monoprints.
Photography and collage elements are
sometimes combined with materials such as copper, enamel,
solder, plastic, wood, and resin to create mixed media artwork.
Subject matter varies but often incorporates symbolic imagery,
encouraging the viewer to make interpretations on a personal
level.
