Eric Margry has been creating
jewelry at the Torpedo Factory Art Center since 1985. He was
born and educated in the Netherlands, receiving a degree in
Hand Engraving from the Academie at Schoonhoven. Eric is one
of the few craftsmen in America who can hand engrave a family
crest ring according to the rules set down during the medieval
times.
Eric can design and make all types of
jewelry including wedding rings, signet rings, earrings, and
pendants and then personalize each piece with decorative engraving,
monograms, a family crest or a personal message. He will also
engrave your silver or gold pieces such as baby cups, picture
frames, silverware and jewelry.
His retail clients include Neiman Marcus,
and local high-end jewelry stores such as Pampillonia, I.
Gorman, and the Tiny Jewel Box. His private clients include
presidents (both parties), sports stars, film personalities
and national corporations. The quality of his workmanship
has established him as the preeminent hand engraver of the
Washington area. Eric Margry's hand engraving has made a lasting
impression across the globe and will for many generations
to come.
