I have been an
artist my entire life. To me art is as essential as the air
I breathe. I have attained the amazing age of sixty, which
is enough time to explore many mediums. I have maintained
a studio at the Torpedo Factory since 1994 where most of my
work has been in acrylic, oil, etching or scratchboard and
ranges from realism to abstract. I have always been a drawer
and painter, but I also built stained glass windows for the
Fountain Court in the Jordanian Palace; etched glass for James
Brady and Barbara Bush; worked as the art director for "Powerhouse",
a PBS series; and became assistant art director at a high
school for the deaf where I also taught black and white dark
room technique to select photography students.
