My paintings
and collagraph prints are characterized by their organized
structures and their highly textured surfaces. Architectural
and landscape motifs are evident, as well as a commitment
to formal abstraction issues of problem solving.
Textures are both created and recycled
from my collections of found materials and leftover papers
from printmaking and the book arts.
Within my work I am exploring the effect
of landscape, the poetics of space, the texture of memory
and the weight of experience.
Works can be found in numerous corporate
and private collections throughout the United States and Europe,
as well as the City Hall Art Collection of DC, Johns Hopkins
University, Booze-Allen Hamilton, the International Monetary
Fund, and the American Embassy in Poland.
