Colleen Spencer Henderson is a fine art photographer with a strong interest in land, sea and cityscapes. When shooting natural areas, she is drawn to wide-open, unspoiled spaces, preferring to photograph during the "golden-hour", the half-hour before and after sunrise and sunset. When the city is her inspiration, she enjoys nighttime photography, especially after a snowfall which transforms the city into something magical.
Colleen is trained in traditional and digital photography techniques. She captures images using both film and digital cameras, and prints all of her photographs on Epson and HP printers. The resulting images are rich, vibrant, archival pigment prints that will last well over 150 years.
In addition to her fine art photography, Colleen has developed a series of highly acclaimed digital photography workshops and seminars teaching others how to use digital technologies to create and enhance their own art. Information about these workshops can be found on her website at www.colleenhenderson.com
Colleen's work is held in many private and corporate collections and she has been recognized in several regional and national art competitions. She adheres to strict archival processing techniques and uses museum quality materials during all phases of the printing, mounting and framing of her images. Colleen's photographs range in price from $250 - $1500, depending on image size and framing choices. |
