Lines and colors are the two important
elements in my painting - they engage me at the most expressive
level. My training in calligraphy echoes in my use of linear
elements, while colors give emotional depth to my work. I
paint mostly in acrylic and mixed media on canvas and paper
and often in a long format resembling Japanese scrolls.
