Zoya Gutina was born and raised in the USSR and for more than 15 years has lived in the United States in New York City and now in Alexandria. She holds a Diploma from the College of Culture in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg), Russia. She is a proud member of the Bead Society of Greater New York and the Potomac Fiber Arts Guild, and since 2008 Zoya has been a member of the Torpedo Factory Artists’ Association.

Zoya is an internationally known jewelry artist, a first place winner, a veteran exhibitor in many jewelry design competitions and art exhibitions, show and museums, a teacher of bead art and a publisher of articles about jewelry. Over last years she has developed her own unique style in beaded jewelry. Zoya's impressive selection of beadwork can help every woman choose her own exceptional style, and highlight her eccentricity, originality, and individuality.

Zoya loves to design for specific individuals, incorporating their energy and personality into the piece. Many of her spectacular pieces are the result of a custom order that undoubtedly inspired a higher level of creativity. She can help any person create what he or she desires - as adornment for daily life or for any special occasion: wedding, reception, etc. Zoya offers classic and rope necklaces, chokers, bracelets, earrings, rings, and beaded sets of vintage or contemporary style.

Zoya says, "From the beginning the process of designing a new piece of jewelry has struck me as magical, beading fills me with a sense of accomplishment and integrity. My passion to 3-dimensional shapes has fueled my creative spirit throughout my life. My choice of beadwork as a primary art medium has followed that same fascination. When evolving, my beadwork seems to always lean towards the building of shapes and forms that are functional and wearable."

Her prices range from around $50 to $2500.
