Barbro Eriksdotter creates contemporary art jewelry and small objects. Her native Sweden informs her aesthetic to the extent that clean, minimalist lines of mostly abstract shapes are dominant in her work. However, one sees the influence of her previous focus on fiber arts in her frequent use of textures as a dynamic juxtaposition to the essence of simplicity.

A partner since 1983 of Studio Metallum (#201), known for its innovative contemporary designs, Barbro is also a member of the Art League School faculty, Washington Guild of Goldsmiths (past president), Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG), and many other professional organizations.

Her award winning work has been featured in numerous local, national and international juried exhibitions.
