Barbro Eriksdotter creates contemporary art jewelry and small objects. Her native Sweden informs her aesthetic - clean, minimalist lines of mostly abstract shapes are dominant. However, the influence of her early focus on fiber arts is apparent in her frequent use of textures as a dynamic juxtaposition to the essence of simplicity of line and form.

A partner since 1983 of Studio Metallum (#201), known for its innovative contemporary designs, Barbro is a member of the Art League School faculty and Washington Guild of Goldsmiths (past president).

Her award winning work has been featured in numerous local, national and international juried exhibitions.
