Abstraction, simplicity, and limited color always take preference in my work. Often nontraditional materials, such as bits of canvas, paper, sand, string and wax are added to create a textured surface.
Whether painting, printing or doing collages, there is great effort to not say any more than is needed --every element is essential. Sometimes I combine several panels that result in large cohesive works. Sizes can be as small as 4" x 4" to 48" x 48".
Paintings and prints can be found in numerous corporate and private collections as well as State Department Embassies and Consulates around the world. |
