Artist Statement

Sculpting stone is a bit like living life: the more open to opportunities and flexible I am, the richer the experience becomes. Each stone's shape, color, and beauty offer to me a wealth of possibilities and guide me from conception to creation.
I prefer to work with alabaster and soapstone because their relative softness allows a gentle cooperation that let me infuse each piece with rhythmic vitality.
