Before I became a painter, I wrote fiction and poetry which probably explains my narrative approach to painting. I am pleased that people think my work is whimsical and fun. Dr. Elisabeth Kessler from the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences wrote, "Kathy Beynette's work comes with an enormous depth of human feeling attached. Fun and caring without sentimentality. Straight to the heart pieces." Thanks!
I happily consider commissions and do many family portraits. David Brendel, President of Brendel Restoration, wrote of his family portrait, "This has been such a pleasure. I certainly picked the right person and I knew it right away."
In 2011, Pomegranate Press, published “Lions” as a jigsaw puzzle. I proudly look forward to a long and happy relationship with Pomegranate, in my opinion the world’s best publisher of fine art! http://pomegranate.stores.yahoo.net/jk010.html |
