My goal is to do for roller coasters what
Andy Warhol did for the Campbell's Soup Can. I'm not quite
there yet, but not for lack of effort. Having ridden over
three hundred roller coasters across the country, I feel a
special affinity for them, and I hope it shows in my work.
(As a point of honor, I will never photograph a roller coaster
I have not ridden.)
My other subjects include brick walls,
graffiti-strewn buildings, rusty old cars, more traditionally
scenic subjects, and anything else that catches my eye. Much
of my current work focuses on the textural details found in
old, weathered, or rusty objects.
